Used Nissan Qashqai 2

Nissan is a car company that likes to get stuck into a wide range of motoring niches. With the Qashquai 2, a medium sized crossover SUV, it’s perfectly positioned to compete in a hugely competitive area of the market. People want versatile cars that are comfortable and spacious, and that’s exactly what’s on offer here.

The Qashqai was released back in 2007 and proved hugely popular, but it’s the newer larger Qashqai 2 from 2008 that’s got British motorists infatuated. Basically it’s the original one with a couple of extra seats (bringing the total to 7) and some fancy upgrades, but it’s a quality motor nonetheless.

Several facelifts have been applied to the Qashqai+2, but there’s no denying it’s attractive to look at. SUVs can fall into the trap of looking like boxes on wheels, but that’s certainly not the case with this one. There’s a lot of space inside too, and the interior design is sleek but friendly in nature. The car is available in several trims, with a nice amount of kit throughout, but top of the range ones are awesome.

The Qashqai 2 is hugely practical thanks to those extra seats and larger size, and there’s really a lot of room inside. With the middle and back row of seats down, the boot space is vast and could fit some seriously large objects. The whole functionality of the car is easy and straightforward, so it’s easy to see why so many people like it.

With a quality ride that’s comfortable and supportive, the handling is among the best in the business and the car is so easy to control at speed and in the turns. The available engines aren’t huge but deliver a good amount of drive while remaining quite cheap to run. If anything is clear it’s that the Qashqai 2 is incredible value for money and ideally suited to families.

Buying a brand new car is a big expense for most people, and the Nissan certainly isn’t cheap. However you can save a fortune with second hand cars for sale from Motors.co.uk, and there’s every chance to get hold of a used Nissan Qashqai 2 for a fraction of the price. Big discounts equal bigger smiles, so take a look.

The clear fact is that the Nissan Qashqai is a fantastic car in its own right, but the +2 is bigger, better and brasher. Paying extra for more room is definitely worth it, but you’ll also find the whole package to be a bit more up market. There are few mid sized SUVs that can match it.
