Toyota Previa

The Toyota Previa is one of the best MPVs around, and has been for many years. It’s big, stylish and very spacious, and makes no qualms about the fact its sole purpose is to ferry around as many people as possible in comfort. The Previa doesn’t try to be something its not, and is hugely impressive as an everyday car.

One of the first real people carriers, the Previa was released in 1990 and a plethora of updated generations have followed. It has won huge popularity over the years and that’s because it has never deviated from its aim. While other MPVs try to be sporty or adventurous, the Toyota continues to plug away at what it knows best, and is much better for it.

The Previa hasn’t always been at the cutting edge of style, but newer models certainly pay attention to it. Angular bodywork and more bling make them look less like minivans, which is great for people who are ‘image’ conscious. Inside there’s a decent trim which combines comfort and space age design. With a lot of space, 7 seats and a huge amount of kit, there’s no doubting the Toyota is up there with the best.

On the road it handles very well for a big car and the ride quality is second to none. This makes long journeys a breeze and motorway driving isn’t a problem at all. The Toyota has several different petrol and diesel engines to choose from, but they all offer great fuel economy. It’s really a pleasure to drive.

Motors.co.uk has a fantastic selection of used cars for sale at bargain basement prices. What this means is that you can get total value for money, so a second hand Toyota Previa will be an even more attractive prospect. Big price discounts across the board means paying less and getting more really isn’t optional, and that’s just fine.

So the Toyota Previa is a wonderfully practical MPV that can seat 7 and has a huge amount of space inside. It’s certainly a veteran of the game, but knows all the tricks to help it stay ahead of the rest. If you have a large family and want something solid and reliable, the Previa should definitely be considered.
