Vehicles and adverts
MOTORS is an advertising platform that does not own any of the vehicles on our site. For more information about a vehicle, finance options or availability, please reach out to the Dealer. You can find the Dealer information available on the vehicle listing page. Here, you will also find a phone number and a contact dealer form.
Yes absolutely! A pre-purchase inspection is a detailed examination of a vehicle conducted by a professional mechanic before a sale is finalised. When paying for a vehicle online, it's recommended to use secure payment methods like bank transfers or credit cards. Avoid paying by cash or through untraceable services. Our vehicle history check provides essential details such as whether a car has been stolen, scrapped, written off, or imported/exported. It also checks for changes in the vehicle's original color or number plate. While this free check offers guidance, we recommend verifying all information directly with the seller. Absolutely! Whilst we don't store copies of old listings as they appeared on the website, we have access to the raw data, including the date the car was listed and key details about the vehicle. Unfortunately, this means we don't have any photos. To request an ad, just complete the Contact Us options below.

We operate as an email-only support team and do not have a phone number for direct assistance. Please email us, and we'll respond promptly to help with your query.
We are sorry you need to make a complaint about one of our dealers. We want to assure you that we hold our dealers to high standards of fairness and compliance with applicable laws. We want to be aware of any complaints with our dealers; please contact us using the Contact Us options below, and click here for our complaints policy.
We'd also recommend you find out about your rights. You can contact Citizens Advice - they can provide you with guidance and the next steps to take. They may also report to Trading Standards on your behalf for further investigation. Please see our advice pages for more information.
On every listing we have a 'report an ad' button at the bottom of the page. This will send the link to the vehicle to our team for investigation, please let us know why you are reporting the vehicle.
If you feel you have witnessed or been a victim of a scam by one of our dealers, please get in touch straight away using our Contact Us options below so we can investigate. With regards to fraudulent dealers we do have a number of measures we use when onboarding them to our platform, however, no methodology is completely failsafe. We are constantly improving our checks and security to prevent this from happening in the future. Please see our advice pages for more information on what to do.
Dealers

MOTORS is exclusively for car dealers. If you're a private seller, we recommend using our partner platform, Gumtree, where you can list your car for free. Gumtree also provides HPI vehicle history reports for added assurance.
Data & Security
There should be an unsubscribe option on any marketing emails you have been sent, or you can opt out within your MOTORS account; if this is not working, please contact us using the options below and we can help make this happen.
To request data deletion please contact us on privacy@motors.co.uk with your account details and we can action this for you.
Unfortunately we are unable to change the email address linked to your MOTORS account, we're sorry, we know this isn't ideal. If you'd like to use a different email you can create a new account with a different email. We'd be happy to delete the old account for you - just let us know via the Contact Us options below.
If you are a law enforcement body with a query about a car advertised on our platform or one of our Dealers, please email lawenforcement@motors.co.uk.
