Hyundai saw the need for a stylish hatchback, so the company joined with a former BMW design executive to produce the i30 in 2007. It instantly became one of the best compact segment models of its time, gaining UK popularity and accolades. Third Generation (2017 to 2012)

Hyundai had already appeared to perfect the design of the i30 by the time the third generation arrived. Several facelifts have occurred since its introduction.
