Used Jeep

The Jeep has seen many changes since the first military vehicle that carried the US and UK armed forces during the Second World War.

There are many historical jeeps around today; the Cherokee, the Grand Cherokee, the Commander, the Compass, the Patriot and the Wrangler are the models that people most recognise.

The Cherokee has squared rugged styling yet has more inside than you might expect, such as air conditioning and heated leather seats. It has a high technology four-wheel drive system and is great whatever the terrain. The Grand Cherokee is what is says on the tin, a more refined and powerful version of the Cherokee.

The Commander is a very macho looking seven seater with a traditional style. It has a huge amount of room inside and is a great experience to drive. If you are a little intimidated by the prospect of driving such a beast then don’t be, it is a surprisingly easy car to drive.

The Compass is a relatively compact Jeep and it has very up to date styling, whist still looking rugged. It’s not as tough as other Jeeps though, so it might be considered as more of a car for the school run as well as off the road fun.

The Jeep Patriot stands half way between the Compass and the more traditional Jeep style whilst with the Wrangler, you are right back to the Jeeps of the Second World War.

There are plenty of Jeeps on the used car market and these rugged vehicles can be an excellent buy. They have been designed to cope with any conditions and they keep on tackling tough terrain year after year. Motors.co.uk could find you a great Jeep deal close to where you are located.
