If you're in the market for premium car that's both compact and efficient, then a used Lexus CT is a great choice. Interior spaceIn 2011, Lexus introduced the CT as its first hatchback. Sharing a platform with the Toyota Prius, the CT was designed to be a premium version of Toyota's popular hybrid. However, Lexus discontinued production in 2020 during the model's first generation, with no direct replacement named.

The Lexus CT was only available with one powertrain option. It used a 1.8-litre petrol engine combined with an electric motor to create a combined 134bhp. This power results in a 0-60mph time of 10.1 seconds and a top speed of 112mph.
Lexus offered the CT with these model options: S, Sport, Executive Edition, Advance, Luxury, Sport Plus, F Sport and Premier. The Advance has been one of the most popular variants among used cars, with keyless entry, front and rear parking sensors, the fabric upholstery from the base model, and privacy glass.
Customers should look out for the various premium features available that add more luxury, such as heated front seats, a sunroof, full leather interior and LED headlights. Customers should also look for tech features such as an available navigation system, a 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system and a reversing camera.
The CT has been an excellent choice for families and fleets because of its spacious interior and superior fuel economy rating. There's also a decent amount of boot space with a flat floor and no load lip for hauling luggage or groceries.
The CT was only built as a self-charging hybrid model. The 1.8-litre petrol engine and electric motor combine to create a rating of up to 78.5mpg. Additionally, CO2 emissions are as low as 87g/km, rivalling some of today's hybrids.
Because of the hybrid powertrain, all CT models come with an automatic transmission. Lexus uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that's meant to reduce the hard shifting feeling common with many automatics.
Lexus only built the CT with a front-wheel drive configuration. However, drivers have been pleased with the handling, especially with the traction and stability control offered with the standard kit.
