Audi refined its infotainment over the years to include all the latest features. In 2018 RS4s and later, the instrument panel comprises Audi's 12.8-inch virtual cockpit, which provides real-time updates on the car's performance and health.

The Euro NCAP never tested the Audi RS4. However, a very similar model, the Audi A4, received a 5-star safety rating. It's safe to assume that the Audi RS4 would score the same results as the A4, especially since it has a generous list of standard safety equipment. Features include 6 airbags, pre-sense city braking, side assist, front and rear parking sensors, plus a pop-up bonnet for pedestrian protection during a collision.
