Porsche Panamera

The Porsche Panamera is an important car for the legendary German auto brand because it’s the first 4 seat saloon it has ever produced. In an attempt to muscle its way into a hugely competitive area of the motoring market, the Panamera combines true excellence with a surprising level of practicality, and you know what? It really works.

Released in 2009, the Porsche comes in 5 door coupe form, and sports a hatchback boot. It’s actually Porsche’s best selling car, and is especially popular in the USA. There are a few different models available, including the higher performance S, 4S, Turbo and Turbo S. For people who want better fuel economy however, there’s a Diesel available and even a Hybrid for eco minded people. If anything is clear it’s that the Panamera is a very versatile motor.

While the critical reception in terms of its design wasn’t the best, there’s really nothing wrong with it at all. From the outside it looks like pretty much any other Porsche, only longer and slightly podgier. The traditional 911 front end and nicely sleek rear are actually very attractive. Superbly comfortable inside, there’s a phenomenal amount of space, with driver and passengers sitting in total luxury. With all the prestige you’d expect, the Panamera is well laid out and the cockpit controls are easy to use. Packed full of kit, there’s a shed load of extras to choose from, and the boot is a good size too. It’s just a fantastic high class executive cruiser all around.

Despite its ‘friendly’ approach, the Panamera is almighty to drive. Regular Porsche engineering and performance certainly haven’t been lost, and it’s incredibly agile in the corners for quite a large car. Lots of clever tech and a fine balance mean it’s poised and holds the road very well, and the sharp steering means you can attack corners with supreme confidence. The V6 and V8 engines mean it’s lightning quick too, and sounds plain awesome.

Not a particularly cheap car to buy brand new, taking the pre owned option is the best way to secure a great deal. Motors.co.uk is definitely the place to go for cheap second hand cars for sale due to the fact it lists thousands and doesn’t skimp on quality either. What this means is that you’ll pay less for a used Porsche Panamera and can be totally sure it’s the real deal.

Clearly then, if you’re looking for a luxury executive saloon, GT cruiser, high quality family car or simply a performance machine, the Porsche Panemera is the best one to go for. It combines all of the above and more in one incredible package. Full of class, sumptuously styled inside and incredibly fast, its something radically different to everything else out there, but much better.
