There have been numerous options available with the Peugeot 508, including diesel, hybrid or petrol engines, automatic or manual gearboxes, and front-wheel or four-wheel drive.

Petrol

1.2-litre turbo three-cylinder generates 129bhp with an efficiency rating of up to 50mpg, depending on the variant.

Peugeot released the 508 in 2011 as a replacement for the 407 and the larger 607. Second Generation (2018 to Present)

First Generation (2011 to 2018)

Peugeot wanted to replace its mid-size 407 saloon and executive 607 with a single car, so the company released the 508.
