There was also a new Performance Pack upgrade with a Torsen limited-slip differential, a front strut brace, active-dampening suspension and high-performance Brembo brakes.
Inside the cabin, the new Mustang has a 12.4-inch digital gauge cluster and ambient lighting that adapts to each driving mode. Ford also released new interior materials and colours, including optional Recaro bucket seats.

First arriving in the UK during this generation, Ford updated the Mustang to have a more retro-inspired look. It also arrived with a revised independent rear suspension to improve handling, keeping it on par with European coupes.
